- Recommended Equipment
- For the Lucky Charms Ice Cream
1 Cup Heavy Whipping Cream
1/4 Cup Sugar
1/2 Cup Lucky Charms, no marshmallows
1/2 tsp Vanilla Extract
1/4 Cup Lucky Charms Marshmallows
Optional: 1 Tbsp Peanut Butter
Directions
- Add the heavy whipping cream, sugar, vanilla extract, and Lucky Charms cereal to a mason jar. Don’t add the marshmallows yet. Put the lid on the jar and shake the ingredients for 30 seconds to combine them. Turn the jar upside down, and let the ice cream mixture sit for 5 minutes. The cream mixture will absorb the sugar flavor from the cereal.
- After the 5 minutes is up, remove the lid from the jar. Pour the ice cream mixture through a strainer into another jar. Discard the cereal part.
- Add the peanut butter and Lucky Charms marshmallows to the ice cream mixture. Put the lid on the jar and shake it for 30 seconds to mix the peanut butter and marshmallows in with the ice cream.
- Place the ice cream mixture into the freezer to freeze. Stir it every two hours to keep the marshmallows from all sitting at the top.
- Freeze for 5 hours or until completely frozen. Once frozen, scoop and enjoy!
