Light pink, neon pink, and red food coloring swirled throughout the vanilla ice cream create a bright, festive, and fun Valentine’s Day Vanilla Ice Cream

Ingredients

  • Recommended Equipment
  • Ball Mason Jar

  • Plastic Container

  • For the Tie-Dye Ice Cream
  • 1 Cup Heavy Whipping Cream

  • 1/4 Cup Sugar

  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract

  • Light Pink Food Coloring

  • Neon Pink Food Coloring

  • Red Food Coloring

Directions

  • Add the heavy whipping cream, sugar, and vanilla extract to a mason jar. Put the lid on the jar and shake it for 30 seconds to combine the ingredients and dissolve the sugar.
  • Take the lid off the jar and pour the vanilla ice cream into a plastic container.
  • Scoop the foam off the top so the cream is smooth.
  • Add 7-8 drops each of the light pink, neon pink, and red food coloring around the ice cream mixture.
  • Use a toothpick to swirl the food coloring around the top of the ice cream mixture until it reaches a desired swirl.
  • Place the ice cream in the freezer and let it freeze for 4 hours or until completely frozen. As the ice cream sets in the freezer the food coloring will settle to the bottom and create a tie-dye affect throughout.
  • Once the ice cream is completely frozen, scoop and enjoy!
