Ingredients
- Recommended Equipment
- For the Samoa Ice Cream
1 Cup Heavy Whipping Cream
2 Tbsps Shredded Coconut
4 Samoa Cookies or Coconut Dream Cookies
1/4 Cup Sugar
1 Tbsp Caramel Sauce
1/2 tsp Vanilla Extract
Directions
- Add the shredded coconut to a small sauté pan over medium low heat. Stir the coconut over the heat until it’s toasted and lightly golden — about 2-3 minutes.
- Break up the Samoas or Coconut Dream cookies and add them to the mason jar.
- Add the toasted coconut, caramel sauce, sugar, vanilla extract, and heavy whipping cream to the mason jar.
- Put the lid on the jar and shake it for about 20 seconds to combine the ingredients. If needed use a spoon to help stir the ingredients in a bit better.
- Remove the lid from the jar and place the ice cream in the freezer for 5 hours or until it’s completely frozen.
- Once frozen scoop and enjoy!
