Ingredients
- Recommended Equipment
- For the Frankenstein Ice Cream
1 Cup Heavy Whipping Cream
1/4 Cup Sugar
1/2 tsp Mint Extract
6 Oreos
1/2 tsp Green Food Coloring
- For the Chocolate Ganache
1/4 Cup Chocolate Chips
2 tsps Heavy Whipping Cream
- For the Frankenstein Chocolate
1/3 Cup Chocolate Chips
Directions
- Add the heavy whipping cream, sugar, mint extract, and green food coloring to a mason jar.
- Add the Oreos to a Ziplock bag. Seal it shut, press the air out, and then use a rolling pin to crush up the Oreos.
- Add the Oreos to the mason jar. Put the lid on the jar and shake it for 30 seconds.
- Pour the ice cream mixture into a freezer-safe container.
- Add the chocolate chips to microwave-safe bowl. Microwave in 30-second increments until melted. Stir in the 2 tsps of heavy whipping cream, until the chocolate is completely smooth.
- Spoon dollops of the melted chocolate into the ice cream mixture. Swirl the chocolate in. Place the ice cream mixture in the freezer for an hour and a half.
- Add the chocolate chips to a microwave-safe bowl and microwave in 30-second increments, until melted. Spoon the melted chocolate into a ziplock bag. Press the air out, seal it shut, and snip off a small corner of the bag.
- Pipe the chocolate onto the top of the ice cream, to create Frankenstein’s hair. Then create two chocolate circles to create his eyes. Pipe on chocolate scars, and a mouth. Place the candy eyes on the chocolate eyes.
- Place the ice cream back in the freezer and freeze for three and half more hours, or until completely frozen.
- Once frozen, scoop and enjoy!
