8 Dove Dark Chocolates (Hearts or Squares)
1 Cup Heavy Whipping Cream
1 Tbsp Sugar
- For the Chocolate Ganache
4 Dove Dark Chocolates (Hearts or Squares)
1 Tbsp Heavy Whipping Cream
Directions
- For the Dark Chocolate Ice Cream
- Remove the wrappers from the 8 Dove Dark Chocolates and add the chocolate to a microwave safe bowl.
- Microwave the dark chocolate in 30 second increments until melted. Stir until smooth.
- Add about a 1/4 of the heavy whipping cream to the melted chocolate and stir until you have a smooth chocolate sauce.
- Add the remaining heavy whipping cream to a mason jar. Add in the chocolate sauce and sugar.
- Put the lid on the jar and shake it for about 30 seconds until the ingredients are combined and you have a smooth ice cream mixture.
- Pour the chocolate ice cream mixture into a freezer safe container.
- For the Chocolate Ganache
- Remove the wrappers from the 4 Dove Dark Chocolates and add the chocolate to another microwave safe bowl.
- Microwave the dark chocolate in 30 second increments until melted. Stir until smooth.
- Add in the 1 Tbsp of heavy whipping cream. Stir until you have a smooth and thick chocolate ganache.
- Add the chocolate ganache to the ice cream mixture in dollops. Use a toothpick to swirl the chocolate ganache into the ice cream.
- Place the ice cream mixture in the freezer and freeze for 5 hours, or until completely frozen.
- Once frozen, scoop and enjoy!
