- For the Dairy-Free Chocolate Ice Cream
1 Cup Coconut Cream
1 tsp Vanilla Extract
1/4 Cup Sugar
2 Tbsps Cocoa Powder
Directions
- Add the coconut cream to a small saucepan on medium low heat. Stir the coconut cream until its melted. Add in the vanilla extract, cocoa powder, and sugar.
- Use a whisk, to whisk in the cocoa powder and sugar until the ice cream mixture is smooth.
- Remove the saucepan from the heat. Pour the chocolate ice cream mixture into a mason jar and place it in the freezer for an hour, with no lid.
- After the ice cream mixture has been in the freezer for an hour, place the lid on the jar and shake it for 20 seconds.
- Remove the lid from the jar and place it back in the freezer, freeze for 4 more hours, or until completely frozen.
- Once frozen, let the ice cream sit on the counter a few minutes to soften, then scoop and enjoy!
