- Recommended Equipment
- For the Birthday Cake Ice Cream
1/4 Cup Box White Cake Mix
1 Cup Heavy Whipping Cream
1/2 tsp Vanilla Extract
1/4 Cup Sugar
2 Tbsps Sprinkles
Directions
- Add the cake mix to a microwave safe bowl, microwave the cake mix for 30 seconds, for three intervals, whisking in between each round, to heat treat it.
- Add the heat treated cake mix to a cereal-sized bowl. Add in the sugar. Whisking continually, to keep clumps from forming, gently pour in the heavy whipping cream. Whisk until there are no clumps. Whisk in the Vanilla Extract.
- Break up the Birthday Cake Oreos and add them to the bowl. Use a spoon to stir in the Oreos.
- Stir in one tablespoon of sprinkles.
- Pour the ice cream mixture into a freezer-safe container. (I love these ones.)
- Sprinkle another tablespoon of sprinkles on to the top of the ice cream.
- Place the ice cream mixture in the freezer, and freeze for 5 hours, or until completely frozen.
- Once frozen, scoop and enjoy!
