Directions
- Add the heavy whipping cream, sugar, and vanilla extract to a mason jar. Set aside.
- Peel the apple and chop it up into small cubes.
- Add 1 Tbsp of butter to a sauté pan, over medium-low heat. Melt the butter, then add in the chopped apple, 1/4 tsp cinnamon, lemon juice, and 1 Tbsp sugar. Stir the apple mixture for 3-5 minutes until the apple mixture is well mixed and soft. Pour the apple mixture into the mason jar.
- Add 1 Tbsp of butter to another sauté pan, over medium-low heat. Melt down the butter, then add in the oats, 1 Tbsp sugar, and 1/4 tsp cinnamon. Toast the oats over medium-low heat for roughly 3 minutes until they’re lightly golden and toasted. Add the oats to the mason jar.
- Put the lid on the jar and shake it for 30 seconds until the ingredients are combined. Place the ice cream in the freezer for 5 hours, or until completely frozen.
- Once frozen, scoop and enjoy!
