Ingredients
- Recommended Equipment
- For the Rocky Road Ice Cream
2 Tbsps Cocoa Powder
3 Tbsps Water
1 Cup Heavy Whipping Cream
1/4 Cup Sugar
1/2 tsp Vanilla Extract
1/2 Cup Marshmallows
1/4 Cup Almonds
Directions
- Add the hot water and cocoa powder to a mason jar. Put the lid on the jar and shake it for 30 seconds until smooth.
- Add the sugar, vanilla, and heavy whipping cream to the jar. Place the lid back on the jar and shake it for another 30 seconds until the ingredients are mixed.
- Pour the chocolate ice cream mixture into a freezer safe container.
- Sprinkle the marshmallows on top of the ice cream mixture. Then sprinkle the almonds on top.
- Place the ice cream in the freezer for two hours. After two hours is up, stir the ice cream to mix the marshmallows in and to keep the almonds from settling to the bottom. Sprinkle a few more marshmallows on top of the ice cream.
- Freeze the ice cream for another two hours or until completely frozen.
- Once frozen, scoop and enjoy!
